Sound Familiar?

Does this sound like you?

  • Swelling in your arm or hand that won’t settle
  • Tight, restricted tissue around a surgical scar
  • Shoulder pain or stiffness after surgery
  • Back pain that started during or after treatment
  • Weakness that makes daily tasks harder than they should be
  • Posture changes you picked up while getting through treatment

Any of these? We can help.

Why It Happens

Treatment does its job. It also leaves its mark on tissue.

Whenever someone has surgery or radiation, tissue damage and scar tissue follow. Those restrictions can limit motion, cause pain, and even keep swelling from draining. When someone comes to us with upper extremity lymphedema, we look beyond the swelling and address the myofascial restrictions that may be contributing, because without releasing them the fluid has nowhere to go.

Cancer treatment also tends to leave compensations behind: postural imbalances and weakness that build up while you’re focused on getting through it. We take a global approach, treating all of it so you can move past your immediate concerns and prevent future issues and injuries.

The Honest Truth

You’ve been through enough. Recovery shouldn’t be left to chance.

If you keep waiting

  • Scar tissue and restrictions keep limiting how you move
  • Swelling has fewer ways to drain
  • Compensations and weakness pile up into new pain

If you start this week

  • Restrictions start releasing with hands-on care
  • You have time for real education, not a rushed visit
  • You work with a team that partners with you and your doctors

Having been through cancer treatment in our own family, we connect with you as a person, not just a diagnosis.
