Certified Personal Trainer
Austin Clayton
Austin has worked as a personal trainer and strength coach since 2021, helping clients from diverse backgrounds and with varied goals improve their fitness and performance. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and has developed his coaching approach through both his education and years of hands-on experience working with clients.
Austin believes that strength is the foundation of fitness. Whether someone’s goal is to improve athletic performance, lose weight, build muscle, move better, or simply become healthier and more capable in everyday life, he believes developing a strong foundation provides the tools to get there. His approach emphasizes purposeful strength training while tailoring each program to the individual, rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.
Austin especially enjoys helping athletes transform their performance by developing strength that carries over to their specific sport and goals. His own athletic background includes six years of competitive powerlifting as well as completing marathons and half marathons. His experience on both ends of the strength-and-endurance spectrum has helped shape his belief that effective training should be challenging, sustainable, and specific to the person in front of him.
Outside of the gym, Austin enjoys watching football, spending time outdoors, and continuing to pursue his own strength and fitness goals.
